Have a dentist see if it needs a root canal then put a crown on it.
Reply:i would see a dentist and see wut they think but thats just me
Reply:Anytime a tooth starts to change color (isolated) it is usually a sign that the tooth is dying. A majority of cases where this occurs the patient experienced some sort of trauma, even if years prior.

Your mother should consult with her dentist and see what he recommends. If the tooth is dieing, he will probably recommend a root canal. If it is one of her front teeth, after the root canal is completed he can place a cotton pellet with a whitening agent (internal whitening). This may have to be repeated a few times. If there are no results after that then, for esthetic purposes, she would want to have a crown.
