im really trying to whiten my teeth because when i look at my teeth in the mirror they look alot worse than when i see other people's teeth when i go out in public what foods will stop making my teeth yellow and start making them white again
Good teeth whitening food?
well, of course you need to brush your teeth but basically just milk, cheese, yogurt and trident or sugarfree gum
Reply:Try pineapple
Reply:Coffee and tea are big offenders in this category. Use a combination of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to help whiten them or use one of the commerical whitening toothpastes or strips.
Reply:Cut back on coffee and cola. If you do choose to drink these beverages, drink through a straw. Drink milk or consume more diary products. These keep your teeth strong, should you choose to use a dental whitening treatment in the clinic or at home.
Certain foods are acidic, like limes or lemons. You can still eat these things, but directly rubbing them is not the best idea if you want to maintain structural health too.
Reply:Avoid foods/drinks that stain. Like dark pop/soda, coffee and dark wine. Don't smoke. Beyond that look into whitening strips, you can try them out at home for around $20-$30 dollars.
Reply:Replace all your drinks with cranberry juice and instead of bottled water tap water
Reply:try whitening strips, they worked for me and are not that expensive ($20 for months of a pretty smile) other than that i've heard that milk works.
Reply:strawberries.
Reply:Eating healthier cant hurt and might help keep your teeth strong, but I'm not sure if food is the answer to whitening your teeth, but I do know that lemon gets stains off the ivory on my piano's notes, it makes them whiter also, so perhaps it can whiten teeth! Be carefull though the acid might use the enamel on the long run... Try crest white strips, its not that expensive and does work.
