I was on a lot of medication when i was a child, that made my teeth yellow as an out come.. well, i want to get my teeth whitened, but i dont want to go through the expensive stuff at an oral doctor. So i was thinking about buying something from the store..
If you used something to make your teeth white, what did you find worked best.. and you didnt have to much hassle with??
For people who have used stuff bought at the store for making your teeth white??
Brush your teeth for 5minutes 4 times a day, using Crest whitening expressions toothpaste for 2 minutes, then using a mixture of baking soda and peroxide for 2 minutes, then use mouth rinse with fluoride for the last minute.
If that doesn't improve your teeth, then continue to do that but also use crest whitening strips.
If the those to things don't satisfy you then go to your dentist and have them whiten them. It only cost me $160.

Even if you have your dentist whiten then still brush your teeth how I described.
Also, smoking and drinking coffee discolors teeth.

Reply:Crest Whitestrips worked really well for me. They used to be really expensive, but are getting cheaper as there is now more competition. Go onto the website http://www.whitestrips.com/en_US/home.js... and get a $5.00 off coupon. If you are not 100% satisfied, they will give you your money back. Just hang onto your reciept. Good luck!
Reply:I bought some teeth whitening stuff off the Internet which was good, just put teeth whitening products in your search engine.
Or Blanx is good but might not shift heavy duty staining, but by all means give it a whirl..
good luck..
Reply:You better be careful in choosing for a teeth whitener especially the over the counter one. A wrong choice may bring you more harm than good so be aware. Follow the standards at http://www.maximumteethwhitening.com/ in choosing for a best choice of teeth whitening that doesn't give any kind of side effects.

Reply:Amazing that you should ask this because I just figured out a very good way to whiten teeth without anything expensive--and the results are fast!
1. Be sure to floss really well.
2. Go buy a metal tooth scraper (you can get one at any Walmart--just ask someone if you can't find it) to remove the plaque off of your teeth--this is the same process used by dentists during regular cleanings and checkups!!!
3. After nothing else comes off of your teeth when scraping, (make sure to scrape all sides--and especially the fronts of your teeth because they're the main visible ones) then rinse with a solution of half hydrogen peroxide and half water. (Example: 1oz of water + 1oz hydrogen peroxide = 2oz of rinsing solution.) You should rinse with this solution for at least 30 seconds, preferrably 1 minute. Swish it around like you would mouthwash, but make sure not to swallow any!
4. Brush your teeth with normal toothpaste for at least two minutes and make sure not to miss a spot. (Hard-bristled brushes work the best.)
5. Finally rinse with the hydrogen peroxide solution (from step 3) again for 30 seconds. (You might want to rinse with water after this because this process will make your mouth a little dry. I usually have to drink some water after.)
I don't suggest doing this more than once a week, however after you have done this more than two times you can use straight hydrogen peroxide without any water when rinsing. I guarantee that if you do a good job your teeth with be visibly whiter--usually after the very first time! This process has never failed for me and I have the whitest teeth that I've ever had in my entire life. Good luck!
