Why do I have a yellow tooth?

My teeth are quite-ish white but only one tooth on the front are very YELLOW!!





Why is this happening?





My friend said it could be a dead root.





Please don't tell me to go to dentist - had a very bad experience!

Reply:If your tooth is turning yellow, yes the pulp of the tooth is dead. Did you hit that tooth hard with something or some kind of trauma? I know you don't want to hear it, but you need to get a rootcanal and then crown that tooth. Otherwise, the tooth is going to get so bad over time that the tooth will begin to crumble.
