Teeth whitening help?

Ive heard using tooth paste with bakeing soda can help whiten teeth, but how? What does it actuacy do? Can it be dangerous and how much should i use?

Also do shop bought whiteners normaly just strip the 1st layer to try and get teeth back tot heir original state? Because i think i have always had quite yellow teeth and i dont think that will help, By doing it proffesionaly at a dentist will they bleach them?

Teeth whitening help?
Baking soda is the best natural thing to use, or peroxide toothpastes look for these in shops. Stronger than this will damage your teeth over time as their to abrasive. If you go to your dentist it will work a little but more than likely youll be very disappointed and left broke.
Reply:NO toothpaste will lighten the color of your teeth. They can only remove surface stains. The white strips that are sold in stores do work but only on the front 6 teeth. The only way to get all of your teeth lightened is at a dental office. None of the lighteners remove any of your enamel.
Reply:Here are many ways that you can whitening your teeth!

For home remedies.

Mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to form toothpaste. Brush the teeth regularly with this paste. It will remove all stains in a month.

Use bicarbonate of soda 5 minutes before brushing the teeth with normal toothpaste in the morning. This is a good home remedy for teeth whitening.

Rubbing the bark of walnut tree on the teeth helps in removing all stains from the teeth.

Strawberries are considered natural teeth whiteners. Rubbing the teeth with strawberries daily will remove all the stains.

If you would like a suggestion on tooth whitening gel, here's something for you!

Crest Night Effects Whitening Gel (about $18.00) allows you to remove stains while you sleep. The tooth whitening system has a fresh, wintergreen flavor. After fourteen days of sleeping with this product on your teeth, you will wake up to a vibrant smile. You should see results in two days, although there are reports of tooth whitening results in one night
