Is there something that will help?
Thanks in advance
My sons teeth are a little yellow he's 1 year and 4 months, I use a toothbrush-but doesn't help much?
This could be a permanent condition, though i hope I'm wrong.I used to know some one that had that problem, and according to what he told me,his mother had taken some kind of antibiotic while pregnant with him,and that was the side effect that some babies suffer, again this is just what i heard, and maybe false, did you use any kind of antibiotic while pregnant? you should really consult a dentist.
Reply:i dont think u shud worry too much my little sisters teeth are like that too but just keep brushing to get him into the habit and eventually his teeth are gonna fall out anyway so dont worry about it
Reply:See a dentist and get it whitened.
Reply:Use a little baking soda as toothpaste.
Also seeing a dentist is highly recommended at age 1.
"The ADA recommends that a dentist examine a child within six months of the eruption of the first tooth and no later than the first birthday. A dental visit at an early age is a "well baby checkup" for the teeth. Besides checking for tooth decay and other problems, the dentist can demonstrate how to clean the child's teeth properly and how to evaluate any adverse habits such as thumbsucking."

Reply:get proffesional advice like a dentist he'll know.
Reply:Try brushing his teeth two times a day in the morning and before he goes to bed and i would give water through day they say your suppose to brush your teeth for 3 minutes might be little hard for a 1 yr old i know they can't stay still but try do those things and see if his teeth get little more white. By the time he hits about 2-3 they'll have to go see the dentist. Just took my son and he's 3 and he had 5 cavities but they weren't deep so they didn't have to give him no numing they just used a paste to fill the holes.
Reply:Yellowing teeth in a child so young signifies lack of calcium and protein in his/her diet. A child of your son's age should rarely if ever be taken to a dentist nor have there teeth whiten as Mr. Britney Spears (redelman) suggested. In fact, I do not believe you would find any legitimate dental practitioner who would do such a thing. The same thing occurred with my nephew and it was lack of the above noted. Definitely see your child's pediatrician so they can suggest an appropriate vitamin that can be added to his bottle or food especially if he is a poor eater.
