maybe you drink too much coffee, it'll stain your teeth, smoking also stains teeth.
I brush my teeth 2 times a day and 3 times when i have time. But how come my teeth is still yellow?
It's probably the type of foods you are eating and also the types of drinks too. If you drink alot of acidy drinks like lemonade it wears down your enamel on your teeth. Iced tea and dark drinks stain your teeth. Just drink more water and save up to get them professionally whitened by a dentist.

Reply:Whoa, hold on Bunky. You have received some interesting answers so far but none have touched on the most basic issue. The basic color of your teeth is created by the coloring in the three basic layers that create a tooth. (1) The out side layer, the Enamel, is shaded from totally clear, to blue gray, to gray...(2) The second inside layer, the Dentin, is shaded from brown to tan to yellow to lite yellow. (3) The inner most layer, the Pulp, is always a shade of pink....Your tooth color is then a combination of those shades i.e...how pink is the Pulp, how brown to yellow is the Dentin and how clear to blue gray is the Enamel. Light penetrates the tooth and reflects back and as it reflects back it combines the color of the layers and emerges in the color, or shade, you and everyone else sees when you laugh, smile and talk....Now, if this is not why your teeth look they color they do, it could be because of medication your Mom took while carrying you or it might actually be food stain, which would indicate the surface of your teeth is pitted, allowing food stains to penetrate deep into the Enamel. Your Dentist can use one of a number of procedures to remove stains. If however the color is from basic layer shading, you might consider what is called "Veneers"...Those are thin porcelain facings that are applied over the face of the tooth and they can be created in what ever shade you wish. Good luck and I wish you well.
Reply:If you eat or drink staining foods they will change color. Coffee, Tea, Green Tea, Some juices, Acid in cokes, wine, red sauces. All kinds of things. Whiten and stay away from those things and they should get lighter for you,
