How do you tell someone they need to whiten their teeth?

I have a guy friend who is nice but has the NASTIEST yellow teeth. And, he smiles all the time! He can't fig out why girls don't date him more than once.

How do you tell someone they need to whiten their teeth?
Just, tell them or make a comment on how you think their teeth need some SERIOUS attention.

Reply:As long as he's not short of hygiene, meaning his mouth doesn't smell, I think yellow/yellowish teeth are finely natural (as in many Southeast Asian countries). I have a rich girlfriend whose parents are both dentists and yet her teeth's color I would imagine would not be that far from your friend's. Cleaning negligence may not be the issue. Some say it's hereditary and even dentists would say it's due to over-brushing that loses its superficiality and cannot be recovered. If he is really that wonderful despite the sight, then the girls who don't want to date him are losing something. And by the way, if he gets bothered by it as much as you do, you can always suggest that there are dentists specialists who do teeth whitening make-up by laser that lasts awhile. Or if you can act, like you would want him to accompany you to your dentist to consult on your own gum problems (make up any alibi), then once in there, maybe you can figure out something to lead the talks to him like 'hey, maybe you'd like to consult too if you have any tooth problem?' There is also a whitening cream (not the toothpaste) available that you can test first on your own teeth although you may not need it but just to persuade him to using it..........I hope that partly helps.
Reply:Then the girls he is dating are shallow. Looks aren't everything, and maybe when the girls grow up they will realize this.


It is too bad our society stresses perfection excessively! Maybe he is comfortable in his skin? It is too bad he has a friend that feels like putting him down without even knowing it!
